Expressible
The platform

One governed substrate, configured to your mission.

Expressible is not a fixed tool — it's a configurable governance platform you deploy inside your own boundary. Council deliberates every decision, governed agents act within bounds on your authorization, and every step becomes an audit-defensible decision record. The heavy engineering already exists; we configure it to your domain and your data.

How the platform operates

A four-stage governed loop. It thinks before it acts, acts only within bounds, learns from what happens, and sharpens itself — preserving the decision record across every cycle.

Stage 01

Think

Council convenes multiple specialized perspectives to deliberate the decision before anything is done. Perspectives reason independently, surface and score hypotheses, and disagree on the record — producing a recommendation with a confidence score, supporting evidence, and the dissent preserved.

Stage 02

Act within bounds

Once a named human authorizes it, specialized agents execute the decision — generating, integrating, validating, or transforming work product — bounded by what the deliberation allowed. Material actions always require human authorization. The system acts; it does not act unsupervised past the guardrails.

Stage 03

Learn

Agents report what actually happened — logs, validation results, integration state, outcomes — back into the decision record as new evidence. Nothing is discarded; the record grows with each action.

Stage 04

Iterate

Council reads the results, identifies the root cause, and applies a targeted correction — not a generic retry. Each cycle is sharper than the last, and the full reasoning history carries forward.

Council — the decision & orchestration layer

Council convenes multiple specialized perspectives to evaluate any question, the way an expert review board would. Perspectives reason in parallel, contribute and challenge hypotheses, and reach a synthesis with confidence scoring and full citations — and the entire deliberation is retained as a decision record you can defend.

  • Multiple perspectives deliberate every decision — configurable to the domain
  • Hypotheses are surfaced, scored, and updated across rounds
  • Reviewers add constraints or evidence between rounds and direct further deliberation
  • No autonomous action on a deliberation — final determinations stay with people

What makes a decision defensible

The difference between a confident-sounding answer and a decision you can stand behind is in the mechanics — built into every deliberation.

The core principle

Not whether a claim exists — whether the evidence supports it. Evidence-sufficiency is the test audits turn on, and it runs through every mission we serve.

Preserved dissent

Minority and opposing views are recorded, not collapsed into a single number.

A built-in adversary

A devil's-advocate perspective argues against the conclusion to stress-test it.

Evidence-sufficiency

Distinguishes that a claim exists from whether the evidence actually supports it.

Confidence & abstention

Scores its own confidence and abstains — routing to a human — rather than guess.

Claim-level citation

Every claim cites the source span and the governing rule or control behind it.

Attestation gate

A named person accepts, overrides, or annotates each decision — as an immutable, attributed record.

Validation gates

Agent output passes named, domain-specific gates before a human authorizes it.

Measurable quality targets

Output quality is defined and measured against your targets — not asserted.

A configurable substrate, not a bespoke build

We don't build a different AI for every mission. We configure the same governed substrate to your data, workflows, approval process, and quality metrics. An engagement is configure‑deploy‑measure‑demonstrate, not greenfield development — which is why one platform serves many missions, and why delivery risk stays low: the platform already exists, and each engagement resolves the domain-specific questions of adapting it to your mission rather than rebuilding the AI from scratch. The substrate is configured through capabilities it already provides:

User-defined roles & profiles

Define the identities that review, approve, and attest — e.g. an assessor or approving-official role.

User-defined source corpora

Load any control catalog, policy set, or document collection as the grounded retrieval corpus.

User-defined perspectives & agents

Configure the review lenses and the agents that act, tuned to your domain.

Definable quality metrics

Define and measure output quality so target accuracies are demonstrable, not aspirational.

Pluggable format ingestion

Ingest your formats and schemas, including domain standards specific to your mission.

Air-gapped deployment

Deploys and runs inside your perimeter, offline, with your data never leaving the boundary.

Same engine, different mission

The platform doesn't change between missions — five things do: the roles, corpora, perspectives, quality metrics, and approval workflows. Perspectives are drawn from a general-purpose library of review dimensions and specialized to your domain during deployment — not shipped as pre-built products. Illustrative directions:

Accreditation & compliance

Completeness · Consistency · Evidence-sufficiency · Clarity · Traceability

Enforcement & referral

Evidence-sufficiency · Adversarial challenge · Source attribution

Autonomy assurance

Safety envelope · Fault detection · Reversion

Software delivery

Architecture · Security · Compliance · Cost · Risk · Quality

Decision support

Contextual relevance · Source attribution · Risk calibration

Your mission

Configured with you during deployment, in your domain's vocabulary.

Illustrative directions, not a product catalog. The actual perspectives, corpora, and roles are defined with you per engagement.

The audit-defensible decision record

Every governed interaction and material platform action is captured in an append-only record — available for internal review, compliance audits, regulatory examination, and legal discovery.

  • The question, the retrieved sources, and their provenance
  • Each perspective's reasoning, hypotheses, and confidence
  • Preserved dissent and the documented counter-case
  • Claim-level citations to source spans and governing rules
  • Human overrides, annotations, and the named attestation
  • Timestamps, user attribution, and every executed action
